Alberta and Northwest Territories stay on daylight saving time

The Canadian provinces of Alberta and Northern Territories will stay on UTC -6 from 2026.
The government of Alberta, Canada has decided to eliminate seasonal time changes and stay on "permanent daylight saving time" (UTC -6) all year, cancelling scheduled time zone changes.
Premier R.J. Simpson of the Northwest Territories (Alberta's northern neighbour) says Northwest Territories will follow Alberta's decision.
